Job Description

Opportunity for a senior buyer / procurement specialist to join a well-established and financially secure manufacturing business, who offer an excellent benefits package.The senior buyer / procurement specialist will as part of a small team with responsibility for managing a range of contracts, undertaking strategic procurement activities, and helping the organisation achieve cost savings and improvements.As the senior buyer / procurement specialist your duties will include:

  • Management of and negotiation of contracts
  • Ensuring purchase orders are placed in line with contract requirements
  • Resolving of queries raised relating to contracts
  • Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities
    • To apply for the senior buyer / procurement specialist, you will need:
  • Experience of working in a procurement or purchasing focused role
  • Strong negotiation and contract management experience
  • Knowledge of MRP systems
