Accounts AssistantNewport Salary circa £22,000 + Excellent Benefits Package A hugely successful organisation based on the outskirts of Newport are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This exciting position will support the finance manager and assist the wider finance department acrossa variety of functions.They are seeking a candidate with excellent levels of numeracy and someone that enjoys analysing information to ensure its integrity. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a finance administrative role, having dealt with the purchase/salesledger transactions within the business. Ideally you will be working towards the early stages of your AAT qualification and looking to get your foot in the door with a highly respected business.Responsibilities will include:1) Process purchase ledger invoices2) Raise sales invoices and process payments3) Deal with supplier queries4) Deal with credits and recharges5) Chase overdue debtors through email, letter and telephone calls6) Deal with any finance related queries7) Filing and archiving of all associated paperworkIt is essential you possess strong communication skills, coupled with a can do attitude. The willingness and enthusiasm to learn is vital for this role and in return you will be rewarded with a strong and stable work culture.The role will be office based, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday but my client can be flexible with start / finish times.
