Job Description

Perhaps youre currently an Office Administrator looking for your next step up Or are an experienced Service Controllerlooking to join a company who have really made their mark in the world of constructionWhats involved in the role

  • To control resources with the objective of achieving a high level of customer satisfaction, both internal & external
  • To offer effective customer service through clear communication with Field Service Engineers, ensuring parts and services are provided in a timely manner
  • To ensure that engineers and other members of the team comply with the Companys and Customers regulations.
  • Monitor and record machine hours to ensure regular maintenance of machines are carried out
  • Control general service enquires whilst liaising with customers, employees, other departments, ensuring harmony within the company
  • Maintain H&S both internally and externally according to the H&S Policy
  • Dealing with dissatisfied customers and managing complaints where needed
  • Manage warranty/exchanges ensuring new parts are returned within a set time frame, following a process of correctly logging and storing them
  • Ensure tooling and spare parts are always stocked and ready for the Field Service Engineers to utilise
  • Consistently maintaining an organised process of work, ensuring a seamless process when filing and documenting
  • Monitor and record any courier deliveries, distributing to the relevant departments
What you will need
  • Knowledge of construction, fleet management or plant and its working environment
  • Able to commute to Sheffield on a daily basis
  • Hard working ethic with an understanding and experience of working closely with Field Service Engineers
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of working within an Office Administrator or Service Controller position
  • Willingness to go above and beyond and enthusiastic towards their work
  • Wants to grow with the company and embrace the variation on work, industry & location
  • Wants to be part of a dynamic team and make a difference
  • Demonstrable experience handling orders and liaising with internal/external departments
  • Positive and responsible with a solutions-based attitude
