Job Description

Successful manufacturer is looking to add to their internal sales team with an additional Sales Engineer. The Internal Sales Engineershould be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has a strong desire to learn and grow within the business. Although notessential for the role, experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.Keywords: Sales Engineer/Internal Sales/Technical Sales/Valves/Quotations/Customer focus/ Planning/MS OfficeDuties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):- Assist in maintaining key customer accounts & relationships for both UK and Export sales- Raise and review commercial and technical quotations- Review and process customer purchase orders, working with specialist software- Following up quotations and leads- Liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure the order process runs smoothly, from start to finish- Support the wider sales teamThe successful candidate:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Detail orientated; strong work ethic & a positive can do attitude
Follows management directions to achieve results
Excellent planning, organisation & communication skills
Enthusiasm and desire to learn
Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team
Educated to BA Hons in Business or Mechanical Engineering (Desirable but not essential)
