Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing Division are working exclusively with a busy precision engineering machine shop based in Sheffield to recruit a number of CNC Machinists due to business expansion. This is a great opportunity tojoin a progressive business who are a leading player in the precision aerospace sector. This role will work a rotational shift pattern including days and nights.Duties of the CNC Machinist include:* Setting and running multi-axis CNC machinery* Progress manufacture in line with a production schedule* Inspection of finished work to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gaugesSkills & Experience for the CNC Machinist:* Apprentice-trained CNC Machinist or time-served experience in a precision engineering machine shop* A working knowledge of FANUC controls is advantageous * High level of attention to detail* Pro-active, with an eagerness to learn and developIf you meet the above criteria for the CNC Machinist role, we would love to hear from you!
