Due to continued growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for join a forward-thinking company.What We Are Looking ForOur client is interested in candidates who have the following:* Experience in the preparation of castings ready for the welding process.* Experience of using hand tools such as grinders, burrs, abrasive belts with an advantage of doing Mount Point work.* Experience of fine finishing, fettling and grinding castings for Aerospace, M.O.D or Oil and Gas sectors.* Removing defects from castings* Experience of working with small hand tools and pencil grinders.* Checking dimensions of components and using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, calipers or depth gauges.* Working to tight tolerances.What Do You GetThe successful Fettling Operative will receive the following:* A salary of £24,750/annum (rate inclusive of shift allowance)* Permanent position from day one* Great company benefits package including pension and onsite parking.* Ongoing training and development.* The chance to work with a busy company with very exciting growth plans.Hours: Rotational Shifts - Mornings/AfternoonsWhat You Need To DoTo be considered for this Fettling Operative position role please click apply now for immediate consideration.Lodestone Recruitment Ltd are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
