Reporting to the Planning Manager your role will involve liaising with both internal and external people in order to ensure our planned works for gas pipeline replacement is anefficient and smooth process. SAP experience would be desirable, but all necessary training will be given to undertake this role.The RoleThe successful candidate will be required to move with the position.In this post you will: Operate office systems, process documents, maintain accurate records and access information in support of departmental activities. Provide administrative support and assistance, providing an efficient and effective service to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives. Resolve enquiries from both internal and external parties. Compile and provide routine information using computer systems as necessary in accordance with relevant procedures and guidelines, in order to provide management with the information they need to effectively make decisions. Assist with the development and update of the operational programme. Update SAP with information based on Project Designs Issue requests for road closures / temporary traffic orders to Highway Authority and or stakeholders within required timescales. Liaise with planning and operational managers to ensure project files are produced and customer notification letters are issued within the required timescales. When required, support the team with notifications to the Local Authority via SAP and Insight.The CandidateEssential: Have working knowledge and understanding of MS Office systems (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Experience of working in an office environment and dealing with stakeholders Work in a structured manner, have the ability to prioritise and have good attention to detail.
