The roleThe Cylinder Workshop Coordinator will support the Equipment & Cylinders Coordinator to fulfil the provision of cylinders to meet client needs and to ensure that cylinders held in Intertek’s rental fleet are maintained and certified, ready for deployment offshore.They will prioritise the use of Intertek owned cylinders for rental to optimise the financial return on Intertek assets. If this is not feasible due to high utilisation of Intertek stock, then they will be responsible for overseeing and managing the rentalof cylinders from approved subcontractors.Key accountabilities• Administering rental stock fleet to optimise usage in accordance with both approved method and client requirements• Ensuring the tracking of all cylinders passing through the workshop using in-house software and IT to allow for accurate customer invoicing and customer reporting• Ensuring incoming work is handled appropriately and registered accurately into company databases, maintaining maintenance schedules, client repairs and calibrations• Ensuring all incoming rental cylinders and equipment are within mandatory certification and maintaining all records• Ensuring only necessary paperwork is generated for each job, ensuring pre-approval obtained from clients for third party work carried out and being billed for, liaising with the procurement and billing teams to ensure POs are managed• Supporting development and maintenance of client reports• Support the Equipment & Cylinders Coordinator as requiredSkills & experience• Strong organisational and time management skills• Proven ability to interact with clients and colleagues, at all times and all levels, in a professional manner• Excellent verbal and written communication• Willing to be “hands on” working at all levels• Good time management and an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines• Proven track record demonstrating high levels of engagement and communication (internal and external)• Experience in producing (and reviewing) reports to the required standard so that they can be authorised internally and then issued to a client• Proficient in computer programs such as MS Office and data entry/recording• Can do, continuous improvement, safety conscious approach• Organised and methodical in approach to work• High standards of personal integrity when dealing with all aspects of company business• Sound communication skills, both written and oral• Excellent interpersonal skills – being able to work well with colleagues as part of a team• Strong initiative and the ability to work independently• Highly flexible
