SF Recruitment are working with a client in Derbyshire to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role offers excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to progress within the business and develop on theircurrent accounting skill set. Full study support will be on offered with this role, along with some flexibility with hours, and work from home options. Salary up to £35,000 Hybrid working - 3 days working from home On site parking Study support 25 Holidays + Bank Holidays Job Duties: - Participation in Health & Safety awareness and support across the sites - Entry of month end journals for reporting - Entry of Payroll journals - To ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed routinely and any differences are investigated and resolved - Assist with forecast and budget preparation and analysis - Assisting with preparation of VAT returns - Assisting with preparation of ONS returns - Preparation of accruals and prepayments each month - Assisting with Year end and Interim External Audit - First-line support for queries - Provide holiday cover for the other Assistant Management Accountants - To ensure financial data is accurate and complete and coded correctly - All other duties or tasks as requested by your line manager The ideal candidate will have the following: AAT Qualified, Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is desirable Experience working within a Finance Team and Month - End duties Team Player
