Were looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team based in Solihull.Location: Solihull, West MidlandsContract: Full Time, Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us knowWhat will you be responsible forAs a Managing Quantity Surveyor, youll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them on a wide range of projects from Education to commercial, healthcare, leisure, public sector and more.Your day to day will include:

Manage and develop the commercial team, ensuring workload is covered effectively and to ensure compliance and processes are being followed.
Oversee the commercial function within an area of the business ensuring robust and accurate reporting processes exist, undertaking the day to day management of the commercial function within the section.
Ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised.
Produce / compile accurate forecasts / budget information and produce accurate reports to client, maintaining and
Involvement in projects through their whole lifecycle; leading projects in preconstruction and through to completion of the works on-site.

What are we looking forThis role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

Hold a full UK driving licence.
Holds the relevant qualifications (e.g. Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management).
Working knowledge of the construction industry, commercial and procurement processes and procedures.
Experience within a similar role.
