Job Description

The RoleProcess Engineer Summer Placement - 6 weeksLocation: Barrow, Leicestershire - Onsite roleMust be able to travel to Barrow location as rural.You will need to support the Operational Team and the Quality Department in completing projects and activities that ensure the manufacturing process is controlled at an optimal cost with zero defects to the customer. This will include working in an industrialplant, ensuring quality excellence through lab activity, process efficiency and optimisation of operational equipment.Main Duties & ObjectivesWork with the teams onsite to identify and implement optimisation opportunities associated to process equipment. You will deliver projects ensuring quality and process control as well as develop and implement new operating parameters and settings along withnew testing methods in the lab.RequirementsPerson Specification

Relevant degree in Chemical, Mechanical or other Engineering disciplines (minimum of 2 years of studies completed)
The confidence and vision to look at, as well as challenge, existing ways of working
Ability to solve problems and take responsibility for delivering solutions
Strong examples of working in a team to deliver successful projects
Ability to understand and manipulate data and draw meaningful conclusions
Intermediate working knowledge the following MS Office packages: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Ability to demonstrate resilience in the face of obstacles
Some knowledge of and an interest in working in a manufacturing environment.
