Having been in business for over 40 years, we have created an innovative and highly regarded product range within the recreational, commercial, offshore, water rescue and military diving sectors. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team.In this role you will support the workshop repairing diving suits and associated equipment to a very high standard for our customers in line with our quality assurance and productivity guidelines. You’ll report into our Repairs Manager and provide an excellent and timely repairs service. Successful candidate should be keen to learn new skills.· Basic salary £19k+· Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm· Holidays - 31 days ( incl. Bank Holidays)Key responsibilities would include:· Helping in the alterations/repairs department· Making alterations to wet suits/dry suits· Repairing any damaged wet suits/dry suits· Preparing materials for repairs· Glue various materials together· Maintaining workshop in a tidy and safe condition· Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisory TechnicianPrevious experience is not necessary as full training will be provided, however experience of this type of work would be an advantage.The ideal candidate:· Can work under pressure· Have an eye for detail· Be hard working· Be a good team player· Be able to work on own initiative and prioritise work
