Job Description

Manpower are currently recruiting for a maintenance electrician to work on behalf of one of our local manufacturing clients based in Wigan.This is a temporary ongoing position with the view to becoming permanent. Immediate starts available. Please note this is shift workHours: Monday- Friday (6am-2pm; 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am) on a rotating basisPay: £17.61ph + £22.17 shift allowance per dayOvertime: x 1.5 £27.72phOvertime: x 2.0 £36.96phOur client are a leading manufacturer in producing insulation/roofing & waterproofing systems.This position will involve assisting with the smooth running of the company:

Fault finding/fixing systems
Maintaining industrial equipment
Testing production machinery
Keeping down time to a minimum
Carry out checks as and when required
Complete all documentation in a timely manner

The ideal candidate will be available to work shifts and have previous experience in a similar background.Essentials

Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship to minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
ONC/NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Post apprenticeship work experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Experience of fault finding and diagnostics.
Experience of pneumatic, hydraulics and process control systems.
Relevant H & S awareness/training.

Desirable

BS 7671: 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
Electrical/Mechanical Multiskilling training.
Electrical/Mechanical Multiskilling experience.
