Job Description

Northern Diver is a rapidly growing company. Having been in business for over 40 years we have created an innovative and highly regarded product range within the recreational, Commercial, Offshore, Water Rescue and Military diving sectors. We have long-standingrelationships with our existing customer base worldwide. This is an outstanding and exciting opportunity for experienced sales professions / account managers to continue the business development drive helping to take the company to the next level. Concentratingon developing key relationships with new clients and a focus on expanding our sales network. The key criteria for this role are self-motivation, drive and energy. The individual will have a proven track record.

  • Basic salary 20k - 25k per annum
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm + 1 in 5 Saturdays, from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales track record with a history of developing business with new and existing clients on an international basis
  • To identify and develop new business opportunities for the company worldwide in the commercial and military market sector
  • Processing sales orders
  • Dealing with general customer queries
  • Compiling quotations to win business and maximise profitability
  • Going the extra mile so the customer has a great experience and becomes a customer for life
  • Identifying customer needs
  • To visit business partners and customers on a regular basis as required worldwide and to build on the already existing relationships
  • To attend exhibitions and shows worldwide
Essential skills
  • Most important is the right personality. You will be dynamic and success oriented with a determination and high drive to win
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Organised and able to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm and work accurately, even under pressure
  • Team player who can also work on their own initiative
  • Full UK driving licence required
No experience necessary in diving and rescue equipment as full training will be given.
