We have more than 4,000 dedicated colleagues, at 14 locations across the country, all sharing the same obsession for our great food.Job description:Site Finance ManagerFull time permanentBased at our Knighton site in Staffordshire (min. 3 days/week on site)Role purposeTo provide dedicated financial resource to support and challenge the manufacturing operation at a site level and to support the Director of Supply Chain Finance in delivery of your objectives.What youll be doingFinance Control & Operations

Delivery of site standards which reflect current working practices and agreed specification

Delivery of weekly/monthly reporting cycle (FPR, forecasts, KPI’s, etc)

Maintain adequate financial control at site and a good level of governance

Monitor and report capital expenditure for the site

Review and analyse stock reporting and forecasting

Performance Reporting

Reporting timely information to site teams both financial and non-financial

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

Co-ordinate site budgets and ensure alignment with the business objectives

Delivery of site forecasts ensuring it is accurate, robust and timely

Complete forecasts and budgets in conjunction with site management teams to company standard

Decision Support

Develop highly effective working relationships with key business partners

Add value operationally by providing, insight, challenge and analysis ensuring a finance perspective is brought to all business decision using fact based information

Drive cost reduction via proactive challenge and seek to identify cost cutting initiatives

Provision of ad-hoc analysis, modelling and project support as required

People

Personal Development reviews, employee development

Lead and develop the Site Management Accountant

Support Site General Managers & Site Management Teams

Support Director of Finance – Supply Chain

Play an active role in the supply chain finance team, taking on appropriate activities outside of the role

What we need from youEssential

Qualified accountant

Previous relevant experience within site manufacturing (strong preference for food manufacturing)

Demonstrable business partnering skills

Good analytical skills

Advanced Excel / Word / PowerPoint

Ability to work alone, calmly under pressure and be able to achieve deadlines

Good people skills

Team Player

Desirable

Practical experience of Standard Costing

Experience of SAP
