Our culture is one where everyone is welcome.Job description:Learning & Development Advisor / Business PartnerBased on site at Knighton Foods, Adbaston, StaffordshireFull time, permanentSalary up to £42,000 per annumAn exciting opportunity has arisen at our Knighton Foods site for aL&D Advisor / Business Partnerto work with the HR Manager and the leadership team to lead change, build skills and capability, engage and motivate staff, develop their talents and improvethe potential of staff through learning and development opportunities. You will also carry out continuous evaluation of training requirements to look at ways to continually improve the learning and development opportunities, and ensure that the needs of thesite are maintained.What you will be doing:

  • Assist HR Manager in creating the Learning and Development strategy and setting clearly defined KPIs, ensuring alignment with the Operations strategy
  • In conjunction with business stakeholders and HR Manager, scope, design and deliver effective management development programmes and solutions for managers across the site, which incorporates core leadership capabilities and management competencies in linewith CorporateL&D strategy
  • Act as a "hands on" Training Sponsor working with the Training Coordinators/Training Champions to deliver on-the-job training for the Manufacturing teams, including maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Compliance Matrix
  • Implement people development initiatives including the completion of training needs analysis with each team manager
  • Ensure effective functional delivery of training and development activities through site training resources, providing recommendations for improvement
Recruitment -
  • To deliver and facilitate a comprehensive induction process, which meets the varying needs of the whole organisation
  • Support Managers to identify gaps in their team (profiles) to inform new recruitment decisions
  • Support the recruitment and selection process for non-graded positions working closely with the HR team as needed
Team Management -
  • Facilitate, coach and mentor the Training Co-ordinators, monitoring their performance through the Review process
  • Have regular 121 meetings to ensure that actions are completed
What we need from you:
  • CIEH Level 3 Training and Skills Practice (or equivalent)
  • HACCP experience
  • Experience in developing and delivering management development training for a wide variety of front line managers
  • Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge and experience of management coaching, mentoring and performance consulting
  • Certificate in Training Practice, or another recognised training qualification
  • Previous people management experience
