You will act as a coach, critical friend and champion, delivering support through one-to-oneadvice and mentoring as well as events and workshops.You will deliver sustainability advice within a business context, helping businesses consider how their ambitions connect with their finance, marketing, sales, business planning and people management.Additionally, you will:- Support the design of new offers to business, along with new events and event content, ensuring theyre fresh, relevant and easily accessible- Champion the climate agenda across our organisation, acting as a go-to expert for other colleagues- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the region to drive forward the support for SMEs on climate- Ensure all client data is logged onto the relevant CRM systemsAbout YouTo join us as a Net Zero Business Advisor, you will need:- Experience of delivering business advice and mentoring, especially around climate support- Experience in delivering workshops and training courses online and face-to-face- Experience in building and maintaining proactive and positive relationships with clients, managing portfolios effectively and efficiently, building client trust and ensuring client retention- Strong knowledge of climate impacts and solutions for businesses- Knowledge of the business support landscape locally - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written- To be IT proficient, particularly with Microsoft packages and management information systems including PowerPoint, Teams and ExcelExperience of working with business customers would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of key business aspects including finance & business planning, marketing & sales and people management.
