This is an incredible opportunity to get involved with this exciting project to really make a differenceon behalf of businesses in the Skills landscape.So, if you are a highly motivated, strategic thinker with a strong background and interest in skills and business and an excellent report writing background, this is the role for you.The RoleAs an LSIP Strategic Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the LSIP (Local Skills Improvement Plan) plan.You will manage the team to maximise business and stakeholder engagement, collect and analyse data and design and write plans, whilst adhering to deadlines set out by Department of Education.You will also develop and lead on key national stakeholder relationships, including the seven other Chambers delivering LSIP Trailblazer projects and the British Chamber of Commerce, to maximise cross working, learning and efficiencies.About YouTo join us as an LSIP Strategic Manager, you will need:- Previous experience in a strategic planning role- Experience in project management- Proven team management skills- Experience of writing and interpreting complex documents, data analysis and simplification- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- To be proficient in Microsoft packages, including PowerPoint, Teams and Excel- To be educated to A-Level and/or BTEC standardA degree level qualification or equivalent would be desirable, as would a proven track record of setting up and leading complex projects.Other organisations may call this role Project Manager, Strategy Manager, Strategic Planning Manager, New Business Strategy Manager, or Planning Manager.Business West is committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all staff and job applicants.
