Job Description

From their base in Midlands, they are able to design and producesolutions ranging from custom end of arm tooling to complete integrated production floors.Due to continued sustained expansion, they are currently recruiting for Controls Engineers to join their Project Engineering Department to be responsible for ensuring projects are manufactured to standard and delivered to schedule/budget.Other tasks include but are not limited to:

Perform PLC, HMI and Robotics Programming using various platforms.
Perform software debug and commissioning activities.
Specify network and interface solutions for projects.
Support system design and functional specification of bespoke automation.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

A HNC / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Software Engineering or be a Time Served Engineer with relevant experience.
Experience in software/electrical/control disciplines.
Experience of Solidworks and 2D/3D Design
Excellent knowledge of Systems and/or Automated Machinery.

You will be self motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work unsupervised and on own initiative.The successful candidate will enjoy a good basic salary of between £40,000 to £50,000 (plus Bonus) and excellent Benefits / Prospects.
