Can you help us achieve our visionThe OpportunityWe are now looking for a Manufacturing Technical Support Technician to join our Manufacturing Team. The role requires an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support the maintenance and repair of a variety of machines and new products coming through the business in an efficient and professional manner.The RoleBased in Whitey, this role will be part of a team of three directly reporting to the Principle Production Engineer. As part of the Manufacturing Technical Support team you will be carrying out both planned mechanical and electrical maintenance and breakdown repair of all manufacturing equipment. Improve uptime, quality and speed of equipment in order to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)Who You’ll Be

  • An experienced Manufacturing Technician
  • HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanic systems, PLC’s, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of Surface Mount equipment
  • Knowledge of Flow solder machines
  • Must be able to identify functions of a circuit using a circuit diagram
  • Confident with reporting, mainly with the use of Excel
  • Be able to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
