On top of this you will earn a competitive salary and generous benefits package.Whatis a Support WorkerYou will be working 1:1 with a resident on each shift, you will have the freedom to plan their day in line with their choices and wishes, enabling them to be as independent as possible.You will be providing personal care to residentsas well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips and fun social occasions.We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstratecompassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to supporting our young people.For the full job description and break down of duties, please contact Adele from the recruitment teamSuccessful candidate qualities:

  • Motivated to learn and to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence when possible.
  • Exceptional communication skills and patience.
  • Experience working within special needs and/or support/care roles (either in a paid or personal environment)
  • A strong understanding of what outstanding care looks like
  • Good interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
  • Able to work within the parameters of the physical demands of the job role.
