Job Description

Role: Income OfficerSalary: £23,973 - £27,087Hours: 36.25 per weekLocation: AltrinchamThe Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Income Officer to join the Financial Services team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.The Role:The role will include:

  • The maintenance of the sales ledger (including month and year end procedures), ensuring that the debt due to the college is billed promptly and accurately and that any monies received in respect of debt repayment is correctly identified and posted to theledger on a timely basis.
  • Processing and tracking income from Higher Education courses (including HE Loans and employer payments), resolving queries, and assisting with timely and accurate forecasting of HE income.
  • Debt Management and credit control in accordance with the college debt collection process, including liaising with the appropriate budget holder to resolve queries.
  • Working with Assistant Management Accountant to identify and satisfy other ad hoc and ongoing reporting requirements.
  • Assisting in month end process, including, but not limited to, month end accruals, reconciling bank accounts, posting recharges, and reconciling aged debtors.
