Job Description

The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join the Estates Team in helping to support in the promotion of a culture of safety awareness, whilst ensuring statutory compliance across all Campuses.The Job:In this role you will undertake is a range of duties to ensure effective health and safety performance in attaining the highest possible standards to help minimise and prevent risk.Key areas of responsibility include:

To support in ensuring that all Policies and Procedures are developed to enable the achievement of strategic aims and objectives
To support in the effective operation of internal Management Systems
Work closely with the Group Health & Safety Officer to ensure that all issues relating to the Estates function are addressed and the responses are prioritised
To support in the management of First Aid provision and Fire Safety Management
Establish and maintain good working relationships with approved Contractors across the Group
To arrange regular building evacuations, ensuring adequate arrangements are in place across all Campuses
To provide effective administrative support to the Director of Premises and Estates Management Team
To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required, commensurate with the grade at the initial place of work or at other locations within the Groups catchment area

About you:You will be an experienced H&S Coordinator (IOSH Managing Safely), who has proven experience in ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of all aspects of H&S management across the Group.
