We have a unique job opportunity that has arisen in our Dispensing Support Pharmacy in Preston, Lancashire, and this Pharmacist vacancy will work in a dual role as a Store Based Pharmacist. This is a full time 40 hour permanent position and will be suited to a candidate with great accuracy and organizational skills as you will be working in a warehouse and doing the final checks of the items before they are then distributed to the stores. This is a fundamental role within our business and will give you a unique and important experience as a Pharmacist. Your working rota will look something like the below:Monday: Alternate Store / DSP 14:00-22:00Tuesday: StoreWednesday: Day OffThursday: DSP 10:00 – 18:00Friday: DSP 14:00 – 22:00Saturday: alternate DSP 14:00 – 22:00 / StoreResponsibilities / Accountabilities:•Accountable for all aspects of quality delivery in the Dispensing Support Pharmacy to ensure patient safety for our customers•Accountable for the ACT and team compliance to the agreed SOPs that operate in the DSP•Confirms competence of all DSP roles against agreed SOPs and associated training•Contributes to the continuous improvement agenda relation to the clinical and quality agenda•Accountable for the investigation and resolution of any quality incidents as and when they occur . Ensuring all clinical and quality incidents are correctly recorded by following procedures which are in line with audit and risk.•Accountable for the escalation process in the event of an incident via D90 team to the business•Approve elements of master-data relating to barcodes•Leading for a safety first culture by ensuring patient safety and H&S standards are adhered to and reviewed appropriately•Work flexibly as part of the DSP Leadership Team to support end to end performance• Work collaboratively with the business and the AHDL Service Centre leadership team to ensure the DSP is an integrated operation• Support business continuity action plans to deliver in shift, in day, every day for storesCharacteristics:•Highly resilient•Strong planning, organisational and people skills•Confident & determined •Analytical , technical & detailed•Professional lead•Leads with pace•Change leaderBrand ambassadorCapabilities required:•Registered pharmacist with at least 2 years experience in an operational environment•Leadership experience of in a demanding environment•Outstanding concern for order and quality•Coaching, training and development skills
