Job Description

Project Site Manager, Power Networks / National Grid ProjectsBirmingham, Manchester, Leeds£55,000-£60,000 + car + benefits or £350-400 per day on a Umbrella CIS basisReference: J105635We have an immediate need for 3 x Site based Project Managers, to be based in the Birmingham area, or Manchester or Leeds areas, with extensive UK wide travel to National Grid and DNO / ICP sites.Your key deliverables will be:- Project Manage all Construction Projects under your control- Deliver according to programme - Budgetary management - Deliver to the Quality and Health and Safety Plan- Ensure site and project quality- Maintain the highest levels of health quality and safety in line with company procedures- Production of project reports, health & safety files and other project documentation- Produce RAMS- Coordination of Temporary Works- Dispute resolution- Completion of works in line with National Grid or DNO standards- Manage contracts (usually NEC 3) in line with contractual responsibilitiesYour experience will include:- Full UK driving licence- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Microsoft Project- Temporary Works Supervisor or Temporary Works Coordinator- SMSTS or equivalent Site Management qualification- Knowledge of excavation support, formwork, hardstands, etc- Experienced in either (1) drainage, highways, groundworks, reinforced concrete foundations, earthworks or (2) utilities or power networks- UK substation or High voltage cable installation experience- Streetworks experience (ideally NRSWA Supervisor)- National Grid BESC/Person status or HSG-47 or DNO Substation Access- First Aid, Appointed Person (preferred)To apply please contact Gareth Bone or apply online
