Job Description

Finance Admin AssistantPermanent Contract to Start ASAPSalary: £18,000pa - £20,000pa (D.O.E)Location: Gravelly Hill, Birmingham (B24)Hours of Work: MondayThursday, 8:45am4:45pm, and Friday, 8:45am4:15pm

  • Front of house - greeting customers and handling general enquiries via telephone and email
  • Supporting all aspects of the Finance and Admin department
  • Entry of shipment invoices onto Opera, and keeping all related records up to date
  • Ensuring all serial numbers are kept up to date on SPARC
  • General administration duties to support the running of the office
  • Ordering of stationery
  • Updating mailing lists
  • Producing unit schedules when required
  • Sales ledger and purchase ledger duties when required
  • Preparation of monthly stock sheets and data entry
  • Month-end support
  • Reporting and analysis
  • Help compiling year-end documentation for audits
  • Assisting with new projects and practise
  • Candidate Spec
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Previous experience working within accounts/finance admin highly desirable
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Motivated and able to work within a team as well as working on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
