Quality InspectorThurmaston, LE4£15.22 per hourPermanent SummaryGI Pro are working in partnership with an aerospace company, based in Thurmaston, who are one of the world’s largest manufactures ofnuts, bolts and fasteners. Their products are being used worldwide inairframe,aero-engine and space for companies such asAirbus and Rolls Royce. Due to an increase in workload they are looking for Quality Inspector to join their team.This company offers an extensive range of benefits from free onsite parking, food vouchers, welfare room and canteen and being enrolled to a benefit platform with discounts to hundreds of restaurants and shops.Our client is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Quality Inspector Processor to join their growing team.ShiftsWeek 1: Monday to Thursday: 5:30 am to 14:00 pm Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 13:30 pmWeek 2: Monday to Thursday: 14:00pm to 10:30pm The Job

  • Use of common inspection measuring equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, callipers, shadow graph, DTI, plug and ring gauges, thread measuring equipment, etc to perform required inspections.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming product per established procedures.
  • Prepare parts for NDT and dimensional Inspection.
  • Move completed work to next staging area.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming product per established procedures.
  • Manual handling requirement including some heavy lifting work.
  • Other Inspection duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate
  • At least 1 years of experience in the quality control field
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings
  • Selecting the correct gauge type for the tolerance being checked
  • Maintaining paper & electronic records
  • To communicate decisions & problems
