2nd Line IT Support Engineer Location: LeicesterSalary: £28,000.00 per annum (BASIC)Job role:2nd Line Support Technician to join a newly formed I.T department of 3. 2 based in the UK and 1 based in India. We are looking for someone to back up and assist the 1st line support Technicians alongside maintaining, supporting, and administering the companyssmall number of servers that are both physical and virtual servers. You need to have 5+ years proven experience in the field with excellent communications and clear telephone manners.The role requires you to be proficient in the following areas: Ability to manage of support to our 1st line support engineers, Windows Servers, Group Policies, Microsoft Azure, Veeam, RD Server and VMware (Esxi 6.7), Windows 7/8/10/11, All Office 365 BusinessStandard Apps including Exchange online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint online. Active Directory. Proficiency in SonicWALL, ESET Cloud Administrator, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop support are preferred. Application support for key business applications, Adobe cloud support. We have a mixed environment of Apple and Windows devices, your role will alsoinclude the overseeing and managing of the successful on and off boarding of users, managing of the Horizon IP telephony system.The office environment is a casual but busy atmosphere. You will be based at our Leicester office. Passion for I.T and the ability to be self-motivated to problem solve is essential. We are open to all forms of training, but paid training will be contractuallylinked. Out of hours work for upgrades and support will be required.You will report directly to the I T manager but will manage 2 1st line support engineers. We need a team player with a positive attitude and new ideas to complete the creation of a successful office.Shift pattern: Monday to FridayWhat we are looking for: Own car is required as the applicant will occasionally need to travel to our Kings Cross office with equipment often without notice although the train is the preferred option.
