Job Description

A growing company that manufactures and supplies application systems in plastic packaging for the Cosmetics, E-Liquids and Technical industries is looking for a HR Officer in Stanley.Reporting directly to Senior Management, your responsibilities as HR Officer include:

  • All personnel administration
  • Monitoring and updating policies and procedures in line with legislation
  • Coordinating and overseeing discipline, absence management and grievance issues
  • Producing HR related documentation such as recruitment adverts, offer letters, inductionpaperwork, contracts of employment, handbooks, exit interviews and leaver letters
  • Managing attendance records and maintaining the HR systems (Sage and INFOR) andassociated hard copy records
  • Organising company events in order to raise money for local charities
  • Compiling necessary paperwork needed for processing monthly payroll
  • Organising and coordinating training for new and existing members of staff
  • Managing company Insurance policies
We are keen to speak to people about this HR Officer opportunity with the following skills andexperience:
  • Experience from a human resources role would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of current employment law
  • Excellent administration, organisational and IT skills
  • An ability to prioritise your own workload in order to meet deadlines is essential
  • Experience working within a small, professional environment
