Job Description

A growing company based in Sunderland that manufactures and supplies application systems inplastic packaging for the cosmetics, e-liquids and technical industries is looking for an AssemblyTechnician to join its team. This role is working over 3 shifts – 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00,and 22:00-06:00.As Assembly Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Setting up and maintaining machines
Taking responsibility for machinery in the area you are working in
Performing machine changeovers
Undertaking regular quality checks
Effectively repairing equipment, tooling, machines, and peripherals
Identifying future preventative maintenance requirements

We are looking for an Assembly Technician who has the following skills and experience:

A good understanding of Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience of working with machinery in an engineering / manufacturingthe environment is essential
The ability to do some lifting and climbing on ladders
