Job Description

A growing company that manufactures and supplies application systems in plastic packaging for theCosmetics, E-Liquids and Technical industries is looking for an AssemblyTechnician ASAP.You will be working over 3 shifts06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00.As Assembly Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Setting up and maintaining machines
Maintaining health and safety standards and safe working environment
Maintaining quality standards
Taking responsibility for machinery in the area you are working in
Undertaking handovers at the beginning of each shift
Performing machine changeovers
Undertaking regular quality checks
Effectively repairing equipment, tooling, machines and peripherals
Identifying future preventative maintenance requirements
Identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Undertaking some mechanical repairs
Optimising machines and equipment to achieve continuous improvement
Ensuring the specification of the product is met

We are looking for an Assembly Technician who has the following skills and experience:

A good understanding of Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience of working with machinery in an engineering / manufacturing environment is essential.
The ability to do some lifting and climbing on ladders
