Job Description

Financial ManagerUp to £33000PermanentTredegarHatchling Recruitment Services has partnered with a company who are recruiting for a Finance Manager you will take ownership of the financials for the business and oversee this SME base in TredegarThis will be a varied and challenging role, reporting into the Managing Director and will provide financial support to aid our three year business strategy.Duties & Responsibilities will include:-

  • Complete monthly payroll
  • Make payments for PAYE and other deductions
  • Maintain month end payroll reconciliations
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • VAT return submission
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts
  • Preparation of a month end file with full supporting reconciliations
  • Compiling and presenting monthly budgets to our Leadership team
  • Management of stock loan financing and invoice discounting financing
  • Maintain a strong balance sheet/general ledger control environment
  • Checking daily system controls and rectifying errors
  • Weekly update of sales target Vs company budget plan
  • Review of all accounts payable invoices
  • Review and advise on Project Costings
Suitable candidates will ideally have some of the following experiences
  • Part or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE)
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Be highly motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently but also enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
