Deli AssistantNorthamptonDays Only; 5 Days from 7 (1 day off at the weekend). 35-40 Hour Week.Do you have a passion for food and an enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer serviceAre you after a new challengeWe are looking for a Retail Assistant to join the team at this independent, multi-site owner run food business at their location near Sywell in Northampton.The role will involve a mixture of serving customers and helping make the added value range of products to serve them with. Due to the large range of seasonal products made instore, no 2 days are the same.As Retail Assistant you will:

Serving customers / delivering an outstanding experience to all customers.
Helping to enable butchery and delicatessen sales delivery (Cheese, Charcuterie & Food to Go)
Pro-actively up-selling, on-selling and cross-selling to meet and exceed weekly sales incentive targets.
Helping to prepare counter displays - focusing on abundance and visual beauty.
Assisting the team in completion of the daily operations of the department.

We are looking for a Retail Assistant who:

Is uncompromising in terms of high standards of customer service, visual merchandising and cleanliness.
Thrives in a busy environment.
Has love of good food, a keen eye for detail, hardworking and a team player.
Previous experience within a deli counter environment (sales, cooking / baking, cutting) would be an advantage.

Shift Pattern: Days Only; 5 Days from 7 (1 day off at the weekend). 35-40 Hour Week.The successful candidate will be joining a multi-site, multi-award winning, family business with an excellent reputation in their sector.
