Kingsley Consulting has been engaged by an industry specialist LED Lighting Technology Manufacturer that is seeking to appoint a Product Manager to help the overseeing of the development, marketing, and performance of a companys lighting products. Thisrole combines technical expertise with market awareness to create and manage a successful product portfolio. Our clients brand brings a sense of warmth to the customer. They design their products with peoples experience at heart, to enhance everyday life,and build a better future.Key Responsibilities & Tasks:* Understand local market drivers & opportunities develop product strategies and tactics to achieve profitable growth.* Conduct voice of the customer to understand what problems they have which can be solved.* Complete technical & commercial benchmarks versus the competition to understand how we can differentiate.* Define the technical product brief for R&D to develop and consistently ensure progress is still meeting the brief.* Identify suitable suppliers for & negotiate costs to meet group margin targets, in conjunction with Supply Chain* Responsible all NPD/EPD process from concept to launch using the milestone process.* Communicate product positioning, features & benefits, and key sales arguments to Marketing for content creation.* Engage with internal stakeholders within the local sales organisation gain buy-in & commitment to your idea.* Create and maintain part codes and product data relating to the developments you are managing using PIM.* Collaborate with marketing & sales colleagues on company strategy for promotional campaigns.* Conduct new product launch training to internal and external teams.* Support sales with product demonstrations.* Monitor awareness of trade media, competitor actions and market trends.Person Specification* High-energy individual with a positive outlook and can-do attitude.* Curious in nature.* Strong communication & presentation skills.* Able to work to a fast pace and manage multiple projects to meet milestones and deadlines.* Solid analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative solutions.* Focussed on the needs of the customer.Profile Requirements* University degree in engineering, marketing or business administration or another relevant field* Minimum 2 years experience in a previous role as Product Manager* Previous lighting industry experience is essential.* Must be fluent in English Language, French would be an added bonusDiversity & Inclusion Kingsley Consulting operates an inclusive and diverse recruitment process, whilst also ensuring our clients do the same and provide any advice or education to them in relation to this.
