Job Description

Flexible part-time role, minimum of 16 hours per week.Based in Sywell, Northampton.Salary£24,000 - £30,000 pro rata, based on experience.Due to recent growth and success, a thriving financial services firm is seeking to expand their team with someone who can provide support to their existing team of paraplanners. Priding themselves on their exceptional levels of service, and high-qualitystandards, you will be part of a team which truly has the induvial needs of customers at the heart of everything they do.About the Role:You would be undertaking a variety of duties, working in a busy and friendly office where you will be given the opportunity to expand your existing knowledge and skills whilst being able to have flexibility with your hours.Your key duties will include:

  • Providing support to the paraplanning team as needed.
  • Producing suitability, financial and annual reports.
  • Supporting the financial advisers in the preparation of financial planning related documents.
  • Working with Intelligent Office software, using a webbased business management system for financial advisers.
  • Sending out paperbased and electronic correspondence.
  • Liaising between advisers, fellow paraplanners and other members of the team to ensure efficient and timely work.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of systems and records, keeping them up to date and always demonstrating a close attention to detail.
  • Ensuring other general administrative tasks are completed in order to maintain smooth running.
About You:You will have prior experience in financial services, and an understanding of paraplanning/the duties of a paraplanner. You will be able to demonstrate a background of providing first-rate standards of customer service. Youll have a can do approach, andthe desire to learn and progress your skills.The ideal candidate will have:
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and an understanding of FCA regulations and a willingness to keep up to date with any changes.
  • Experience of working within the financial services industry, either past or present.
  • Working IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Intelligent Office systems (or other similar systems).
  • Excellent team working and communication skills, both verbal and written.
