FRS are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for our client based in Northamptonshire.Full Time PermanentAccounts Assistant £22,000 - £27,000 DOEThe RoleTo help maintain the efficient and effective running of the office and financial functions within the business.Duties include but are not limited to:• Ensure the daily cash flow is updated.• Reconcile the credit cards and ensure all receipts are sent by the users.• Ensure the Bank Reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.• Maintain the Purchase Ledger - process purchase orders and deal with any queries.• Manage the petty cash .• Ensure all incoming post is processed and distributed properly.• Print off Credit Card processing report on a daily basis.• Complete the end of day invoicing.• Produce supplier payment runs as and when required.• Assist Sales department with calls as and when required (i.e. holiday/sickness/busy periods).• Ensure all filing is correct and up-to-date.• General office administration.• Help with Supply Chain and update PO Dates to with accurate dates.• Assist credit control when required.• To be aware and follow all of the Company HR policies.• Any ad hoc duties that may be required.Experience/Skills Required:• At least 1 years’ in an Accounts Assistant role or similar• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to include legible handwriting and excellent numeracy skills• Good computer literacy and knowledge of relevant software applications including: Microsoft Office’, Word’, Excel’, as a minimum• Sage 200 would be advantageous• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills• The ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines• Understand, monitor and work within budget guidelines• Good time management skills• The ability to work well with others• Ability to work on own initiative • Positive attitude and approach to workIf you are interested in this role please apply today or call and speak to Simon.
