* Career Changing Development Opportunities* Perfect role for a part qualified looking for a step up* Hybrid WorkingOur Alfreton-based client, a cash-rich group is looking to hire a Financial Accountant.A newly created Financial Accountant role focusing on reporting and control would make a great move from practice, or for a technically industry-trained accountant who is looking for a challenging role on a permanent basis.Responsibilities:* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to Group* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting* Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances* Bank payment authorisation and cash flow management* Balance sheet reconciliations* Support month-end and year-end close process, including statutory accounts* Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control* Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process* Any other duties as required by managementTechnical understanding and experience of the Finance functionThis is going to be a well sought-after opportunity, our client is considering newly qual/Part Qualified Financial Accountants.
