Consortium are pleased to be representing a highly successful and innovative manufacturer who are experiencing a period of growth. As a result, they are now looking for a Supply Chain Planner. This is a fast paced role, suited to someone who is analyticaland familiar with planning for projects involving multiple stakeholders. About the Role As the Supply Chain Planner, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:* Using SAP, you will be responsible for planning the material requirements for a portfolio of products* The planning of production schedules that meet target deadlines* Ensuring the availability of materials, liaising with the procurement and stores teams when required* Ensuring the product is distributed on time and within budget* Liaising with 3PL providers to ensure projects are delivered in line with targets* Identify short and long term risks, ensuring service and delivery is not disrupted* Identify ways to optimise the supply chain and reduce costs * Liaise with stakeholders effectively, ensuring cohesiveness within the projects * About the CandidateThe successful candidate will have the following attributes:* Previous experience of planning within manufacturing is essential* An analytical mindset and the ability to mitigate risk* Experience of using an MRP, preferably SAP* Be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders across all levels* A Passion for project delivery and ambition to succeed and developWhats on OfferSalary - £37,000 + Excellent benefits package and enhanced pensionHybrid workingOpportunity to develop and progress in a robust and thriving companyThe chance to join a rewarding and supportive culture, that values its peopleConsortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
