Job Description

Sales Ledger/Credit ControllerFull TimePermanent REED Accountancy and Finance in Norwich are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established family run business on the outskirts of Diss (own transport required), to recruit for a Sales Ledger/Credit Controller to join their close-knit finance team. This client is also keen on employee progression and are open to providing study support to candidates who desire it.The Sales Ledger/Credit Controller position will sit within a finance team with 4 other people reporting into the Finance Manager. The Sales Ledger/Credit Controller position will be full time, predominantly office based (with flexibility to work one day at home), working a 37.5-hour week.This company takes pride in the flexibility and support it can provide its employees.Sales Ledger/Credit Controller Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Management and Administration of Direct Debit facilities for customers
  • Providing support and cover when required to the Purchase Ledger function
  • Assisting with analysis of sales related KPIs
  • Assisting with implementation of control procedures
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers as and when required
  • Preparation and input of cashbook and weekly bank reconciliations
Desired Skills and Experience for the position:
  • 3+ years experience in similar position
  • AAT Qualifications desirable
  • Desire to progress within role
  • Ability to take own initiative as well as work well within a team
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets
