We are happy to be partnered with a well stablished family run business who are seeking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team.As a Maintenance Engineer you will be working alongside and closely supporting the Engineering Manager with plant maintenance and day to day tasks.Shift Pattern: Full-time role, Monday to Friday with a mix of days, earlies and lates with some weekend hours (with paid overtime). No night shifts.What will I be doing• Efficiently maintain & repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment.• Undertake diagnostic and fault-finding procedures.• Conduct routine maintenance and general upkeep of plant equipment.• Attend mechanical and electrical breakdowns.• Assist with small projects and continuous improvements.• The right candidate will also need to show a commitment to quality and safety as well as assisting in keeping the factory safe and compliant.Desired skills and experience:• Electrically qualified and Competent Multi skilled Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical)• Previous experience in FMCG or food industry• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and variations to workload.• The ideal candidate should have high level of problem-solving skills, experience working with industrial electrical systems, plant machinery and packaging machinery.• Understanding electrical drawings.• Maintain and update planned preventative maintenance schedules.• Being able to identify faults or hazards and troubleshooting system failuresIf interested don’t hesitate to apply below!
