Welcome to Taylor Whitmore,We currently have the pleasure of hiring for our fantastic client based in Eye, Suffolk who are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their growing team.They are a friendly, forward-thinking medium sized family run business who have recently undergone expansion hence the need to grow the team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a company who have a great ethic and truly value their staff.Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out daily checks to maintain site compliance
Inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production
Report any quality issues to the line manager
Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
Filling out and reviewing of production paperwork
Maintain retention samples
Calibration of probes as requested

What they are looking for:

Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role is desirable but not essential
Previous food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate desirable but not essential
An eye for detail to catch defects
A natural communicator and team player
Ability to use initiative
Flexible and adaptable
Basic IT skills
Confident and willing to learn

This is a permanent role with the option to work either of the following shift patterns:

Monday to Friday 14:00pm-22:00pm
Monday to Friday 06:00am-14:00pm/ 14:00pm-22:00pm rotating shift
