Multi Site Farming Coordinator £ Experience dependant + CarSuffolk Field based Agricultural/Farming Im currently recruiting for an Agricultural Food Manufacturing business who are offering a fantastic opportunity to a Field based Supply Chain Co-ordinator to work alongside their group of independent farmers. The company is market leading in their field and are currently looking to expand their team as they continue to develop and improve their business as they push forwards in 2020.To be a successful Field based Supply Chain Coordinator within an Agricultural business you will be responsible for the following:- Developing relationships with the farming businesses to facilitate the implementation of best practice, agreed welfare standards and efficient costs of production within the criteria.- Work with the supplying farms to forecast slaughter ensuring that the weight of the animals are in accordance with weight range of the companies required specification- Provide all necessary forecast reports ad statistics as may be required by the Supply Chain Development Manager- Assist the compliance team to ensure the companies ODB standards and any customer requirements are met, this includes closing out non compliancesYou will ideally have experience and good knowledge of high welfare pig production but key skills would be interpersonal, especially the ability to communicate confidently and successfully to build long term relationships.
