This is a key role within the R&D Department, providing mechanical design support to current active design projects and helping different cross-functional teams.As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for pneumatic designs and development procedures, helping a medium-sized team reach their targets. This company design and manufacture niche precision measurement devices for the high-tech industry.You will be working with cutting-edge technology, which is revolutionising the industry.Ideally, you will have experience with either Materials Sciences, CFD, Simulation, Pneumatics or Flow systems. The team are open to any industry as long you have worked with niche measurement devices.You will need to be qualified to a degree level in Mechanical Engineering as this role will also help the drafts-person where needed, so you will need to understand the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering.This role offers a tremendous hybrid policy with two days in the office and the rest from home, alongside flexibility on your day-to-day core hours.You will need to be British and have security clearance.This role is looking for:- A degree in Mechanical Engineering- knowledge/Experience in either Pneumatics/Material Sciences/Flow systems/Simulation
