The OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fixed Asset Assistant Accountant to join a fast growing and highly successful business based in Stokesley. The role will offer significant opportunity for development and progression, working within a team of highly-skilledprofessionals in a genuinely people-orientated environment.Main Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for the day to day Fixed Asset activities to include, managing additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation Annual asset verification audits and data cleansing Capex project management, ROI support and monitoring of capex spend against budget Maintenance and development of the capex register Preparation and analysis of practice MI for one business stream. Supported by management accountant. Production of financial KPIs Processing of month end journals Management of balance sheet reconciliations associated with role Key member of team supporting annual audit Developing and implementing financial processes alongside the Financial Controller as the business grows Support development opportunities through the provision of data/financial modellingYou will be/have Good Excel skills would be an advantage, albeit we are not looking for advanced level Experience of Xero or other finance / accounting systems A willingness to learn the specifics of the dental industry and support the growth of the practice and business overall
