Job Description

Our esteemed client is seeking a highly proficient and experienced Senior Finance Analyst tojoin their dynamic finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This pivotal position will be crucial in optimising the financial performance of the business.Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Analyst include:

  • Responsible for headcount information and ensuring any recruitment is in line with budgeted headcount.
  • Review open order reports, parked list and prepare monthly accruals.
  • Prepare monthly bonus calculations and any other ad hoc accrual and prepaid calculations required for month end and year end.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Manage spend to ensure it remains in line with budget and follow up any potential issues with relevant cost centre manager.
  • Review payroll and liaise with Payroll departments for any variances.
  • Ensure updated transfer pricing study exists and liaise with US Corporate tax to ensure tax compliance with different intercompany transactions.
  • Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide guidance to support their objectives.
The successful Senior Finance Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
  • Min 2 years’ experience of working in a finance business partnering role ideally within overhead optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Ability to working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
