Our client, a "best in class" provider of IT services and corporate infrastructure to the SME and education sector, are now looking to expand their Business Support team.This is an exciting time to join them, as a Purchasing Coordinator, based out of their Essex offices. Location: Laindon, Essex - with flexitime and hybrid working available.Salary: £25-30k per annumWithin this role, you will be working within the Hardware/Purchasing team to provide frontline support to the client base, procuring hardware at competitive process and achieving profit targets.Key responsibilities include engaging with clients to collect their requirements and orders, working with the Client Account Managers to ensure the request is correctly captured.You will also liaise with hardware suppliers and brokers to procure the required hardware, maintaining accurate records within the tracking and finance systems and ensuring they reflect up to date, accurate data.You will seek out opportunities to improve systems, spot any flaws and have the chance to put your own proposals forward for any changes and improvements.Other responsibilities will include supporting the Commercial Manager to add value in the client offering, support in warehouse management of all deliveries, collections and stock takes and carrying out proactive reporting.Our ideal applicant will have/be; * Strong relationship skills, able to build partnerships with customers and suppliers* Keen knowledge and interest in IT hardware, particularly consumer grade items such as desktops and laptops and Wi-Fi* A strong commercial awareness, capable of owning profit delivery* Highly developed system skills, able to interrogate and develop system efficiencies* High level of accuracy and efficiency, comfortable dealing with large amounts of data* Strong communication skills* Strong systems experience, both finance and workflow systems* Willingness and desire to develop and learneSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
