Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for a warehouse/tradecounter Operative to join our rapidly expanding, award winning team.Northern Industrial is one of Europes leading industrial automation specialists, with UK headquarters and offices in the Americas and Germany. We ship to over 186 countries and have grown by over 500% in the last 5 years.Your responsibilities:

Dealing with receipt and dispatch of deliveries/goods
Processing repairs and orders onto our in-house database
Maintaining accurate inventory records
Picking, processing and packing orders for delivery
Dealing with stock movement and storage control
Handling customer enquiries at the trade counter
Providing cross departmental support, ensuring full communication between Warehouse, Workshop, Sales and Admin teams is maintained
Operating equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations
Ensuring all paperwork is up to date and filed as required
Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at all times

About you

Experience in a customer focused / customer service role
Experience of working to tight deadlines
Excellent Customer Service Skills both written and spoken
Adept at interacting with customers and colleagues at all levels
Self-motivated
Good communicator
Experience of problem solving
Computer literate
