We are now expanding our operation with an onsite presence in Mexico.We are looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder to get involved with this new venture and join our growingteam.An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse/Tradecounter Operative to join our rapidly expanding, award winning team.Northern Industrial is one of the leading names in industrial automation spares and repairs, providing top quality service to customers in the UK and around the world.Over the last 5 years we have experienced growth of 500% and won numerous prestigious awards for business excellence and export achievement.Your New role

  • Multi skilled role dealing within all areas or warehousing
  • Handling Goods In and Goods Out
  • Achieve quality metrics and productivity goals daily
  • Booking repairs and orders onto our in-house database
  • Accepting and processing deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate stock records of equipment and components
  • Packing orders for delivery
  • Dealing with stock movement and storage control
  • Handling customer enquiries
  • Providing cross departmental support, ensuring full communication between Warehouse,Workshop, Sales and Admin Teams is maintained
  • Operating equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensuring all paperwork is up to date and filed stored as required

What do we need from you
  • Prior experience in warehousing preferred but not essential
  • Good computer literacy & numeracy skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Adept at interacting with customers and colleagues at all levels
  • Work within a team whilst using own initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
