Located in Lancashire at the heart of the UK textiles industry and with a long history in the manufacture of nonwovens, the business continues to lead theway in its servicing of their target technical markets and provision of value-added products.Key to the delivery of the planned growth is the appointment of a first-class Procurement Manager to manage effective supply chains and ensure raw material availability. The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement & materials supply chain managementexperience in relevant manufacturing settings, ideally including Far East sourcing as well as UK & European logistics planning experience. Fibre/textiles experience would also be highly advantageous however, key tasks relate to raw material pricing & sourcing,tracking systems and reporting (via Navison ERP). Ideally educated to degree or HND level in a relevant technical subject, you will be a pragmatic, highly organised materials procurement professional looking to work as part of a small, dedicated managementteam in delivering great products and service to new and existing customers alike.
