Job Description

We are a fast growing, innovative, East Lancashire Based Manufacturer and have a new Opening for a Logistics Data Analayst.Your role would be to assess current supply chain performance specifically in relation to Logistics; In order to help surface improvement opportunities that can deliver value by making the logistics operations more effective, efficient, and well controlled.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Working with Key Stakeholders in improving the efficiency and processes of all Logistics activity.
  • Analyse large and varied datasets relating to our supply chain and extract key insights to assist with strategic decision making.
  • Review improvement opportunities within the Warehouse Team and assess business impact; help prioritise opportunities and support the development of projects within the Team and wider business.
  • Assess the true cost to the business of any shipment queries and continuously search for opportunities to reduce the impact to the business.
  • Communicate key insights into the logistics process to the wider business to aid the decision making process.
  • Author reports and reviews for the audience of Key members to give accurate line of sight of the logistics function of the business.
